Ladu Pick & Pack, card decline reasons, and PostNord direct contracts

September 14, 2026

A round-up of what shipped this month across payments, shipping, and fulfilment.

Pack faster and without mistakes

Ladu Pick & Pack is our fulfilment tool for WooCommerce stores. It lets you pack orders straight from a phone or tablet, with no extra hardware to buy. Pick items off the list by product or by order, scan each one with the device camera, and confirm the quantity, so a wrong item or a miscount gets caught before the parcel is sealed rather than after a customer complains.

You can leave internal comments on an order for your team and see the customer's own note when they have a special request. We also added a new status – partially fulfilled. When some items are in stock and others are not, this option lets you ship what you have now instead of holding the whole order for the missing piece.

Card decline reasons

When a card payment does not go through, the shopper now sees a specific reason in their own language, right in the checkout:

  • Not enough funds
  • Verification not completed
  • Card details didn't match
  • Bank declined
  • Temporary problem

That tells them whether to try again, fix a typo, or reach for another card. Where a reason cannot be classified safely, the checkout shows a clear fallback that tells the shopper not to retry the same card.

The same category lands on the order in the Partner System as a "Card payment declined" event, so you and your support team can see why a payment failed without opening logs. This covers regular cards and wallets alike. Privacy stays intact: only the plain category is shown, never the bank's raw refusal detail.

Simpler Shopify setup

Setting up Montonio on Shopify takes fewer steps. You connect your Montonio account once, when you install your first payment app, and every app after that skips the API keys entirely. Install only the methods you want – each bank, Financing, Pay Later, and Card Payments is its own app – and the connection carries across all of them. The install still starts from the app's listing on the Shopify App Store.

PostNord direct contracts

Shipping from Finland? You can now use PostNord to deliver within Finland or to Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. It runs on your own direct PostNord contract: add your API key and customer ID. PostNord does not cover the Baltics.

WooCommerce stores also get a PostNord parcel-machine shipping method in the latest plugin release.

The Partner System now in Finnish

The Partner System and the onboarding flow are now available in Finnish. Two smaller changes land for Finnish merchants at the same time: MobilePay now appears in the cards component only when the shopper is likely in Finland, and Finnish businesses no longer need to upload ID photos during onboarding.
