Between holiday festivities, our team launched some important updates to help you ship smoothly and save money in the new year. From a special Q1 shipping discount to better courier options across the Baltics, here is what we shipped in December.

Discounted international shipping for Q1

We are kicking off the year with a special deal to help you expand your reach. For the entirety of Q1 2026, we will not charge based on volumetric weight for international shipments.

This means you pay for the actual weight of your package, making international shipments cheaper. This is a limited-time offer applicable until the end of March 2026, making it the perfect time to expand your reach and start shipping globally for less.

SmartPosti courier pickups and returns

We have added the option to schedule courier pickups and returns with SmartPosti. This is now available for merchants using both Montonio Contracts and Direct Contracts in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

One thing to note is that when you schedule pickup, we send the information to SmartPosti, and they will then contact you to confirm the final pickup details.

DPD couriers added to Montonio Contracts for Estonian merchants

Estonian merchants using Montonio Contracts can now use the DPD courier service to send parcels across the Baltic. 

Previously, this was only available if using Direct Contracts, but now it is integrated directly into Montonio Contracts, simplifying your logistics setup and letting you benefit from our pre-negotiated prices.
