November 2025 product updates: cheaper Smartposti shipping and smoother fulfilment

With the busiest shopping weeks of the year underway, we’ve focused November on updates that help you ship smarter and manage fulfilment with less effort. Take a look at what’s new.

Smartposti prices drop across the Baltics

We’re ending the year with good news for merchants shipping within the Baltics and to Finland. Smartposti delivery prices have decreased across the board, making it easier to offer competitive shipping without cutting into your margins.

Here’s how much you'll pay and save per parcel:

  • Estonia → Estonia: €2.05 (–€0.65)
  • Latvia → Latvia: €1.95 (–€0.45)
  • Lithuania → Lithuania: €1.95 (–€0.45)
  • Between Baltics: €3.95 (–€0.05)
  • Baltics → Finland: €7.50 (–€0.30)

These updated rates are already available in the Partner System for merchants using Montonio Contracts.

New Woo plugin: International shipping built in

Our latest Woo plugin update introduces full support for Montonio International Shipping, giving merchants an easier way to reach new markets.

The new version includes:

Automatic pricing in checkout
The plugin displays the international shipping rates for every country you activate.

Flexible measurement handling
Use product-level dimensions for precise rates, or configure default measurements for a faster setup process.

This update aims to make international expansion more accessible, especially for smaller stores that don’t want to juggle multiple plugins or rate tables.

International shipping cost calculator

To make planning and testing even easier, we’ve launched a new calculator that helps you estimate international shipping costs.

You can access the calculator through the Partner System or directly via the standalone link here.

AI parcel notifications (beta)

We’ve introduced a new beta feature that helps merchants spot delivery delays before customers do. AI parcel notifications automatically monitor parcel data, carrier updates, and delivery statuses, and alert you when something is running behind schedule.

If a delay is detected, the system prepares an update outlining what’s late, why, and what the next steps may be. The goal is to help merchants reduce support load and stay ahead of potential issues during busy periods. You can activate it in the Partner System.

Improved pickup point search

Checkout is now more flexible for customers. We’ve upgraded the pickup point search to make finding the right location easier:

  • Customers can find pickup points by name, address, or city, depending on what they remember.
  • Search now ignores diacritics, so whether you type Oismae instead of Õismäe or Jurmala instead of Jūrmala, you'll get the same results.

This update helps shoppers choose the right pickup point more quickly, improving both conversion and delivery satisfaction.
