June 2025 product updates: Tracking emails, Smartposti, and multiple IBANs

We’ve made a number of improvements this month to help streamline operations and enhance flexibility. While there are plenty of smaller tweaks and fixes under the hood, here are the three biggest updates we’re excited to share.

Tracking emails

Merchants can now enable automated tracking emails for customers. Once activated, Montonio will send out tracking updates for all shipments – including manually added ones in the Partner System.

Tracking emails:

  • Can be activated from the store’s shipping settings
  • Premium package users can customieze the email with their own logo
  • Start sending once tracking page is enabled
  • Do not currently support SVG logos

This is an easy way to keep shoppers in the loop without extra work on your end.

Make sure your tracking page is enabled to use this feature.

Smartposti by Montonio

You can now activate Smartposti delivery with your Montonio contract. This covers deliveries to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland, and is available to merchants based in the Baltics.

Key notes:

  • Available to merchants based in the Baltics
  • Supports delivery to EE, LV, LT, and FI
  • Courier pickups are currently not supported
  • Returns must be handled manually – no automatic label generation yet

Support for multiple IBANs

Montonio now supports routing payments to multiple IBANs. Previously, all incoming payments had to go to the same bank account. Now, you can route payments to different accounts, for example

  • Swedbank payments → Swedbank account
  • SEB payments → SEB account

This is especially useful for larger merchants with multiple bank accounts. It helps speed up reconciliation and match settlements with minimal effort.

This is an enterprise feature and is priced separately. Contact Support if you'd like to enable it.
