As holiday traffic ramps up, we’ve focused on two key themes in October: shipping that scales across Europe and checkout options that boost conversion. Here’s what’s new.

International shipping by Montonio

International shipping is now live in the Partner System for Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian merchants via our partner Nova Post.

You can now ship parcels across Europe using two delivery methods:

• Pickup point delivery – The parcel is collected at the sender’s address and delivered to a designated pickup location, like a parcel machine.
• Door delivery – A courier delivers the parcel directly to the recipient’s address.

Prices depend on route, method, weight, and parcel dimensions. A new net-price calculator is available in the international shipping activation modal in Partner System.

Shipping on Shopify via Parcely

We’ve teamed up with Parcely to offer shipping to Montonio merchants on Shopify.

The new integration makes it easy to print labels, manage shipments, and access Montonio’s delivery options – straight from your Shopify store.

Cash on delivery

Cash on delivery (COD) lets customers pay for their parcel when it’s delivered – at the parcel machine, via payment link, or directly to the courier.

Offering COD helps build trust and attract new shoppers, especially first-time buyers who prefer to pay upon delivery.
COD is currently only supported for direct contracts with DPD, Venipak, and Unisend.

Pay Later and financing on Shopify

Pay Later and Financing are now available for Shopify stores using Montonio.

Pay Later has quickly become one of shoppers’ favourite ways to pay – and it’s proven to increase average order value right in your checkout.

Be sure to enable it to maximise your conversions and basket sizes this holiday season.

New banks added

Merchants in Latvia can now accept payments from Indexo customers through Montonio bank payments. Indexo is Latvia’s up-and-coming bank, serving tens of thousands of customers.

In addition, we’ve added several Finnish banks, expanding Montonio bank payments across the region.
